Get assistance on business planning. Having a thorough business plan is important because it not only is a requirement of investors and lenders but it also provides you with a roadmap to business success. A business plan often allows business owners to see things from a new perspective as well as to face and mitigate risks not thought of before. It is also a great guidepost for your employees as to the goals and objectives of your business. Please note: We cannot write business plans.

I have owned my own business for 28 years. Approximately three years ago, sales dropped and I was in need of help. I had already moved to a new location, cutting my rent in half. My sales continued to be too low to cover my expenses and support myself. I needed advice on how to "stay-in-business". I called the Florida Tech Women's Business Center and was referred to Mary Baldwin, Certified Financial Planner. She met with me a couple of times and offered valuable advice. After the changes she advised, I am now showing a profit and able to see a successful future. The help I was given was just the right thing at the right time." - Catherine "Kitty" Hatton, Melbourne Dancewear, Inc.
