About the WBC 

The WBC provides training, counseling, mentoring and technical assistance targeting women entrepreneurs and women-owned small businesses in Brevard, Indian River, and St. Lucie counties. The WBC uniquely offers clients the "Power of Four" -- the right Place, People, Partners, and Products.

 

The right place is Florida Tech's state-of-the-art business training and counseling facilities in Melbourne, Florida. Conveniently located on the third floor of the Link building, the WBC offers an environment conducive to learning the basics, getting the right answers, identifying opportunities, and building new alliances.

The right people include a professional staff, experienced trainers, business-savvy volunteers, and knowledgeable College of Business faculty. All work together to bring resources and services requisite to being successful in business startup, sustainability, and growth.

The right partners include community organizations, government agencies, local clubs, and industry. Local and regional partnerships offer targeted resources and services to a broad range of clientele. The WBC and its partners support a business each step of the way from startup to high growth and long-term sustainability.

The right products are training, resources, and services targeting the needs of a diverse group of clientele. The WBC offers onsite and remote training on a wide range of business topics; as well as online counseling sessions with experienced and knowledgeable mentors. The WBC hosts events and activities for clientele in building small business support systems that promote long-term success.
